First box of pennies........

Well, decided to not try to sell the full box of 06Ds at a local coin show this past weekend; and instead elected to "spin the wheel", trading it for another box of pennies from the same bank.

Was able to get seven wheats (28P, 40P, 44D, 53D, 54P, 57P & 58D). I almost missed the 57P; as it had retained the shine and lustre of a penny forty years "younger".

The box also produced an 05P I was still missing, a low mintage 69P and a couple of Canadian cents (53 & 89).

I think I'll stick with halves................

...........oh yeah, the box also yielded a "butterscotch" colored 98D. It was evenly colored all around the coin.

Didn't someone recently post about a butterscotched colored penny they ran across ?
