We found a box of these dished at an estate sale in Tulsa. The lady said her father worke for American Airlines for over 30 years and bought these at the company's surplus sales store. There is at least a dozen complete sets and more plates.
The plates are 8", saucers are 6 1/4", and the bowls are 4 1/2" X 1 1/2" deep. I tried to capture the only chip I found.
I can just see the upper crust, first class being served by high heeled stewardesses in their starched, pressed uniforms.
