You have an impressive range of ages and materials there, Musky ! The brown Penna. jasper Thebes point (NE of the bead) is a good illustration of how far choice materials sometimes traveled during the earlier periods (and resumed later).

The star of your show, IMHO, is the Ohio spurred, stemmed lanceolate with the tip worked down into a borer. (First picture, second row, third from right).

Very nice frames! :icon_thumleft:

thanks for the comments guys. ive had a blast in my first year of hunting. i appreciate having t-net and all of your insightful opinions and ideas. have learned a bunch from youall. yes molly that center piece is a heartbreaker. that was my first find that had any size to it. found it on thanksgiving morning, last year. i always imagine it with a dovetail base.

Mike i got some hinges for those frames i made...looks like ya need to come over and get one cuz those look pretty filled up... keep rockin man!!! awesome finds man...and im ready for another boat hunting trip on the river also!!!!

Nice frames of first year finds. I started hunting in September of 2009 and plan to add a similar post of first year finds.
