finally got out with my new tigershark. stayed on land as this would be my first time using a detector that has no display. i cranked up the discrimination all the way so i wouldnt be annoyed by pull tabs and other junk. just wanted to coinshoot.
with the discrimination all the way, it did a good job of ignoring zinc pennies and chiming in on copper, clad and silver. found a couple of bucks in clad and yep, found silver on my first day with it! see my other post on the head to head board about coinstrike versus tigershark for coinshooting!
despite being accustomed to a display, i quickly got used to just listening and found it a bit more easy going to hunt with just ears instead of eyes and ears. the headphones are a bit cumbersome but not too bad.
i'm very happy with it soo far. cant wait to hit the water!
