Started at a building site 2 blocks from Bryant-Denny stadium here in Tuscaloosa found the Rosie there had to work for a few hours and checked out a swimming hole and picked up my first half a 1971 :(
Then this afternoon at a park close to home my first silver quarter a standing liberty. Date unknown
I must say I'm amazed with this machine and I really don't have much experience so my finds should only get better with time. Wow I do love the tones and depth of it.

nice days finds, we love using our at pros

Nice finds. Yes, the AT Pro is definitely a keeper and, one of the best values for the money available! I love mine.

Nice finds ....& yes you will only get better with that machine!

Congrats on your finds!!! The AT Pro is a great machine, I'm still searching for my first silver though. Way to go on your SLQ!!!

I love my AT pro. Great finds.. keep at it

That's great man

Very nice ! Got my Pro in mid may. You definitely grow with it. Check out youtube for some great tips. It helped me a bunch. HH Rick

Awesome way to break in a machine! I LOVE MY GARRETT! I believe they say the learning curve on a new machine is about 20 hours, I think your well ahead on that one!

I have an AT Pro and find it has great depth and is good at filtering out junk without missing the good stuff.

Nice finds with your new machine. I am learning mine. Dug some brass and then had a good silver signal. I found the sewer main at 2 feet. haha Good hunt great machine.

I found silver with my AT-Pro on its first day too, but yours is MUCH nicer! I love SLQ, only found 1 so far myself. Don't get too down about the '71 half, you'll be pulling some silver halves with the AT in no time. They rang up from a 92-97 on mine, depending on depth and soil. In my test garden, my AT-Pro hit a silver half loud and clear at 10", and still had a faint, but repeatable signal at 12+". Once you get used to the Pro settings, you will dig A LOT more good targets among the trash.

Get the 5x8 double D for it- You wont regret it! Just got one the other day and keeping the large one for wide open un-trashed fields!
