Welcome to the forum !

A good way to get started in this hobby is to make a list of everyone you know - relatives, friends, co-workers, etc.
Ask them how olds your house - if they tell you their house is 75 yrs. old or older - hunt it !
Hunting these older houses will increase your odds of making some great finds - like Silver Coins.
Fill your holes - take all your trash - leave the yard cleaner than when you got there and you'll be welcomed back.

Good Hunting !

Yea- it's too funny. Just down the trail from my house. I thought it may have been something nicer. It pinged up pretty high, no iron sounds. Again, it's my first "sport". all good!

Perfect, I would have been over the moon digging that, I need one to use to rake out weeds from fishing swims & I'm not paying £30 to chop it up & throw it in the river back-to-back with another one costing £30!

Welcome to the forum
Well done-A heck of a lot better than a old soda can.
First dig-Repurposed into a useful tool for toolbox of equipment that one might use.

Best of luck on your next dig "Old Sport", and turning this new hobby into a life long passion. :occasion14:
