Some one had a sad day long ago. Your watch in those days was bit of an investment for a good Waltham like that one. My grandpa gave me his Hampden he special ordered and had monogramed with his initials. He got it on a payment plan and owned it free and clear after he made 12 payments of $6.25 each month.

Crazy. So Waltham was a fairly good brand then? At least there is enough left to make it out. Would be nice to find a complete one someday. (:
