first find-1866 2 cent piece

I found my first 19th century coin.(1866 2 cent)YEHAAAA.I found an empty lot,that the house had recently been demolished,it was constructed between 1900-1912,tax assessors couldn't say for sure.The 1866 coin is the only old coin I found,on the property, and a buddy found an 1908 dog tag,Also I found a double headed ax head,pretty cool.I love this hobby,sorry no pics now.no digital camera

Wow, congrats. The two cent piece is one of the most awesome coins. My first took almost 30 years to find and it looked like it had been run over by a train. The good news, the second one came less than two years later and it was beautiful. Keep after it you are doing great.
