First find with new Garrett AT Pro

My first backyard find with the new Garrett AT Pro I got from Bart at Big Boys Hobbies. This is after I cleaned it up a bit. It looks to be some part off a car, truck, tractor, or such. It rang in between 89 and 94 with a steady 91 and was hitting right at the 12" depth. This was in rain soaked red Alabama clay. I know it's junk, I'm just happy to have a new detector and that the weather has cleared up enough to try it out and get used to the sounds and signals.. Thanks...

Thanks everybody, I'm just having fun now getting to know my machine and getting used to the different sounds and signals and getting myself dirty..lol Can't wait till I can get down to some serious dirt fishing..

Just found out it's not a part off an automobile at all. It's a piece of an old television antennae..

Good machine. I bet that blew the head phones off. They make a good pin pointer as well. You will find many Ala relics. Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I really like this detector, can't hardly wait till I get the chance to really get out and hunt with it but I'm just learning it now playing around in the back yard. So far it is an awesome machine. I'm gonna get a pin pointer (Garrett) next iin maybe a couple or three weeks if I got the spare funds for it.. I do need a hunting buddy if anyone lives close to central Alabama, my friend can't always go and a hunting partner would be nice..
