Actually there are 3 hunts in these pics. First pic is a core and that is all I found. Next is a blank my wife found at her Mom's,need to get up there and check it out good before grass gets too high.
Next point is first one I found this year. Walked about 20 feet and there it lay. Buddy found next 2 pics. That bird on my finger would have been a nice one. In-situ of a needle tipped broke bird, might have been a perferator. Next is in-situ of a Humboldt that has a big thinning flake on base ,almost looked fluted. And it doesn't look like normal Humboldt. It has tiny notches? near base, odd. Next is a pic of pieces and better ones.
Last pic is a buck that was hanging around last fall.

Pics aren't bad and the finds are even better!

Some really nice finds , is the Humbolt fluted ? Im not familiar with those but looks like a beautiful point

Nice finds!

As for that buck...Wowsa! That is likely a record book buck, so
tell him to keep his head low come Fall!!

Great finds, the one in the fifth pic is beyond words, it has to be in the heartbreak hall of pain.

Humboldts are not fluted. Some have nice thinning flakes in base but this guy got a big flake. Small side for one too

It was after season so he was safe. Bunch of em run around the edge of town.

It sure would have been a dandy, almost painful finding them like that.

Love the whole presentation! From the top of the ground and into to the hand.
And the materials!! You might as well be on the moon. We never see those here.

Here is pic of other side of Humboldt

The reverse view has a Buchanan Eared look ? part of the Humboldt Cluster . Some nice finds makes me want to head to the high desert .
