Finally got out! This is what I found... Few cuffs, nice Cavalry little gilt on it, Coat button bad shape, plenty of lead, looks like a piece of chewed lead, rivets, shoulder scale piece, Henry 44, U.S. Colt 41 long D.A. and a Crushed 56-50 Spencer Joseph Goldmark, ny (J.G.) Shell Casings. Thanks for looking

Pretty sure it's a smashed 45-70 round, it's lead! I could be wrong?

Sweet Finds

The JG could be a makers mark,I am sure I read somewhere that when a bullet maker would retire there would be a certain amount of shells headstamped with his initials...usually not many if I remember correctly...will see if I can find the link...

Soup

Found it...

There is a subcategory of collectible rimfire ammunition with headstamps commemorating certain persons who have worked in the industry, often issued in extremely small quantities on the occasion of that person's retirement. Often the majority of these cartridges are given to the retiring individual, leaving him or her to decide to whom they are traded or distributed. This increases their perceived value as collectibles
