First Finds with the V3 , Sword frog and a nice coinspill w/ a Walker Half!!!

As I am learning the V3 I have been going out and hunting sites that were pounded with my DFX, understanding we always miss something!!! So I went back out the the house site/Civil War spot I hit 4 times last year, same spot I dug my other corp badge. Withabout 1/2 hour into it with nothing to show for my efforts except a BSA button I get a off the charts signal and out pops a great sword frog!! It is very heavy and appears to have been mounted to a steel scabbard vs a leather one?? I circle from there and get a really strong 90s, thinking I had my 10th plate of the year!!!! I popped it open and find a nice little pocket spill w/ 2 wheats and a 1938 Walker!! This is my 4th walker in 20 years and only my 6th half!!!So I am pretty happy at this point.. as I was walking out.. I dug a spoon and a little silver heart, with part of it missing. All in All...a good day.. a nice silver coin,a good Civil War relic and a cool little button I didn't have!!! ;-)

Nice Half !! and Relics. My buddy is learning a V3.It is a nice machine ! A deep silver grabber ! He has made some nice finds with it ! He is still a little slow with it yet though. When we hunt together I cover quite a bit more area than he is with his new machine !! He did nab a tiny canadian 1/2 dime at 8 inches with it though !! MaineRelic

Nice finds,

The spectra is a silver seeker. It really likes deep silver. Whites has got a great unit with this one. Your gonna like it over time.
