First gold ring of 2013, and more gold and silver!

Had some days off work this week and went hunting with my buddy pl8man a couple of times. On the hunt this morning, I found my second Silver Rosie in a week. Its a '49, maybe that means my niners are gonna win the Super Bowl. I also found an interesting piece that looks like a broken broach or something. I looked at it and thought it might be gold but blew it off. At home I was about to throw it away, but I decided to do a quick acid test. It passed the 14K test.!! WOW, great surprise! So after the hunt with pl8man I went back out to a local park i play basketball at all summer. I pounded the dirt around the edges of the court , like I have done a few times. This time it was a score. My first gold ring of 2013!. Its my 10th ring overall. I thought by the color of it that it was 14K, as the stamp is worn and hard to see. It tested for only 10k though..I also found two wheats today, a'55 and a '47. Thanks for lookin all and Happy Huntin!

Its to bad I didnt know at the time it was gold...now i cant remember the exact spot...only the area it was in.

Just an gold test kit found on ebay. I don't know about one of the best..But Im happy with my monthly gold and silver intake

Ryan, you are so uncanny with these things. A 49'rs GOLD (looks like specimen) and something about the numbers 55 and 47! Hmmmm....that's mighty high but could be a point spread. (They did have one pretty high scoring game this season though.) And that broach, gold with some pretty turquois. Almost looks antique. Very fancy. But that ring does take the cake. A rosie, wheaties and GOLD!!! (And maybe some lotto numbers!)
