First Gold Ring

After 11 months of detecting, I found this 14K gold mens wedding band at a small park in the play area. It was about 5-6" below the wood chips and weighs 7.3 grams. Ring #6 for 2015.

Up here in WA we are having a very mild winter this year. Its sunny and 50-60 during the day right now. Going out at least an hour or so after work everyday is nice.

Congrats on the find. I found my first gold plated ring for 2015 back in February. I have not been able to get back out due to all the ice and snow we had received. 2015 sure has been a Winter to remember! We are scheduled for up to 8 more inches tonight and tomorrow. I sure hope that Spring gets here before Summer! LOL

Seattle continues its extremely mild winter today. I was able to get out for about 5 hours. It was sunny and about 60. Found lots of clad, but nothing else.

I just lost a $650 white gold wedding ring that was a comfort band like that. Slipped on the ramp in Philly while walking out to board a commuter flight. Didn't realize until we landed at home that the ring had been flung off my finger in the fall... Airline wasn't interested in any kind of help looking for it...
