First gold watch (best find)

Found this and a 1918d merc. at Lincoln academy in gastonia NC. Lost them and then found them again. Looked up the #'s and it was made in 1917.

Absolutely beautiful watch. That is quite a find, must have taken your breath away!!! I would have fallen over. Just makes you wonder what the circumstances where to have someone lose such an object

What did that ID as? Depth.
