Went out with my buddy to hit some empty old lots in far North Texas today. The lot was very trashy but the CTX is amazing at picking out good targets from trash. Especially if you hunt with a wide open screen and learn your tones. Anyhow, I started off with a couple 40's wheaties, got on the board with a 42' merc, couple more wheaties then BAM out pops a 36' Walker only about 4" down! I could tell what it was before ever removing the coin. The huge eagle on the reverse is a dead giveaway.
I finished the day out with a few cool tokens and a couple more wheaties. A very happy hunter was made today!

Also, people think I'm crazy when I tell them that I clean my aluminum tokens with 000 steel wool. I think the before and after pics of the token I found today show just how well it works. And yes, the before photo was after I had already cleaned all of the dirt off the piece. Thanks for looking and HH!!
