first hole, first find of 2008

I had a lot of first for 2008 in about 2 minutes today.

first hunt for 2008 and X5
first hole and find of 2008 with my new Shadow X5
first silver of 2008 and X5
first barber of 2008 and X5
first pre 1900's for 2008 and X5

What do you think all in one shot that's a first
Also fastest find for me ever.

I spotted some bare ground at the in-laws so i decided to do some practising with my new X5 after the Badgers did some more butt kicking. When I got out side I did my ground balancing and decided to practise listening for faint signals. Well this happened to be first of like 3 faint signals. The dime was 5" down on edge.

Won't be long and ALL that snow will be gone! No telling what you're gonna find there with a Barber being the first! 8) Congrats!

I have hunted this yard at least 10 times with 3 other detectors and 4 or so other people trying there hand at detecting. I have dug many IH's and merc's but first barber here.
