I hunted about 4 hours yesterday before the rain came and got a few keepers. My first good find was a very warn LC, the next was another LC in much better shape. I dug a pile of scrap all kinds of bits and pieces of stuff, then another good signal and a candle snuffer. I was about 4 feet from the road when I got a really solid signal and figured it was a can or something then I flipped over the plug and I could see silver, it was a great silver ring stamped 925. I like the celtic knot design on the ring, great finds

Heck of a hunt! 2 largies and silver. SWEET. R u callin the bell lookin thing a candle snuffer? HH

Cool finds... I like the ring, the coins and the "candle snuffer"! I would have called it a bell for sure.

I had forgotten there even was such a thing as a candle snuffer. How do you know what is was used for? The little hole at top would have made me think it was hung as a bell. Just asking I'm new to all this and trying to learn...

I would be outside digging but when I looked out the window the barometer said 23 degrees so it seemed like a real good day to research online.
