First hunt in 2 years

Since I went to work in the West TX oil field I havent had a chance to get wet in 2 years. I got a couple days off so I dusted my Excal 11 off and cherged the batteries and went to my old swimmen hole. I have pulled a lot of rings and coin out of this river swimming spot, thought I might get lucky. Lol the river had just gone through a 7-10 foot rise a couple of weeks ago and everything was blown out or burried by fresh sand. I only hunted for 6 hrs because both batteries seem to be shot. Still had fun and found some coins and one silver ear ring and a 57 wheaty. I dont get to hunt much anymore so I will probably sell my Excal II

Glad you got out and did some water hunting. Hope things change where you can get in some more detecting later on, even if you sell your current detector. Good luck & happy hunting.
