First hunt in a looong time ,silver cross ,token , couple 44s

Finally got out to look for a little treasure ,put some batteries in the machine and headed for an old favorite spot with ruins of miners cabins and swung for about an hour and a half . The Silver cross & Clarkes token were in the same hole with the token on top . Also got a couple WRA 44 cartridges, an old Copenhagen lid and a pile of nails. It just felt good to be out ! and I got to bring home a couple of goodies !! Spring is in the Rockies !

Nice token, it sure is nice to get out! It seemed like a long winter. We are going to have a little snow in the morning but at least the ground is thawed, and it will melt fast!

Like Squirell the token intrigues me. I'd love to know a date on that. We had a distillery here during the prohibition era. They distilled white alcohol for some kind of government purpose. I once heard torpedo fuel but not sure.

Arg, I will post a pic of it cleaned , but it is brass not silver ,around here our brass is almost always green , the black fooled me, it did have a loop on top at one time.
