First hunt of 09 with some nice relics....

got out for the first hunt of 09 today. I got a few nice relics and some coins. Dug about 1.20 in clad. I also got 6 wheaties, and a 1930 Buffalo nickel. As far as relics i got some nice ones. AT the first house i dug a real nice decorative piece. It has a angel playing some string instrument. It had a chain thing on the bottom aswell as a clip on the back however they both broke off wjile diggin. ANy info on what it is would be great. I also dug a piece of what looks to be leather with 4 rivets in it. I think it may be from a saddle. At the last house i got the round copper piece with the design on it. I have no idea what the design is or what the piece is. I think it might be part of a door handle. Again any info would be great.
O yea my partner dug a LC, a silver nickel, a buffalo, and a 1881 canadian fish scale, Lucky SOB.

love that buffalo nickel that's the first thing on my list.I need a job more than the nickel. Ooo well too each his own,that angel is before the 1900 because the neck is not reversed on the guitar.Look likes you guy's did all rite,still to much snow on the groung for me. thanks for the post liftloop

the melha shriners are a charitable organization, like the masons, the knights of colombus, the lion's club, B.P.O.E. (the elks), etc. They run a children's hospital in my area, free of charge to the patients. They also run a circus to raise funds and participate in many parades, driving in miniature cars.
