Met with my friend Brian for about three hours and went water hunting. All the lakes are froze, but not the creeks. It was 30 degrees and the water was cold!
My take was 87 coins, the older coins were 6 wheats,a 59 nickel, and a 1940 Canadian cent. I also got a shield charm with some encrusted chain still intact, an old silver plated fork, I also found an old brooch that is now missing. When cleaning out my pouch I niticed the fork and brooch were gone. I figured they were in the back of the van. I went out to get them and the fork was on the back bumper! the brooch is no where to be found so I can assume it is on the road somewhere? Can't believe the fork survived 35 miles on the bumper! Oh well, we had fun even though we about froze our hands off!
I also found a possible Native American item? Notice the two holes that appeared to be not natural to this rock.
