Hey everyone,
I saw this for the forecast in Seattle and knew I needed to get out today:

I visited a friend's 1920s home and was skunked for oldies. I did, however, find this big silver ring in the sidewalk strips out front. It's even too big for my thumb!

It rang up as a 79 at half an inch (usually a copper penny signal) so I almost left it, glad I didn't! The house is near a university so I was helping clean up some bottles around the yard after I finished detecting and when I went to the alley to throw them away, I ran into a friend who owns a house across the alley. They said I should hit their yard sometime and so I asked, "how about right now?".
Not too much there either but I did score a couple wheats. Dates are 28-S and 41-S.

Luck in the hunt! You'll hear from me again when we get a dry spell.
