At least you are still finding things after it has been hit hard. Do you ever get in the water and hunt there....Matt
 

I've never actaully dug any targets in the water. I don't have a sand scooop, so it makes the task of doing so very hard. But I do metal detect on the beach, just not in the water.
 

Good for you! No sand scoop, do you have a pointer? It would make your life easier in that sand and a whole lotta time saved to move on to your next target. I have the Garrett Pro-Pointer and it's doubled my finds with the timed saved from QUICK recoveries. Good Luck, Paul
 

I couldn't get by without my trusty Pro-Pointer. I have to agree, it increases recovery time by a lot!
