Went out to the park where we spent much of our time last year for about and hour and a half on Sunday. We didn't have much time since I had to get to a basketball award thingy, so we didnt have a ton of time. We also shared my dad's machine again since the Cibola hasn't really ever done too well at this park. Only found 8 cents total between me and my dad, but one was my dad's first wheat of the year, 1924, and the other was my first silver of the year, and first ever war nickel! About 6 inches or so, and at first I was a little disappointed seeing Jefferson, then I figured out it didnt look bad like nickels do, and found the mint mark above Monticello(?). Anyways, its my first silver this year coming from only 4 last year so hopefully its a good sign!
