First hunt this year...First Platinum

First Beach water hunt of the year. The least I've ever scooped in a 6 hour hunt. 5 coins, 2 pull tabs, junk bracelet AND my first platinum ring... 7.4 gram Tiffany and Company PT950...Big Mike got a .925 silver ring...we have been waiting on the water to warm up to start hunting...We hope to get to the beach 3 or 4 times a month now..Hope to be posting some more good finds..Good luck to everyone.

Thanks...Your right, I tell the guys I hunt with that our hobby isn't like other hobbies like fishing, where if you caught only one fish it would be a bad day..All we need is ONE GOOD FIND to make our day.

Yeah...$210 Scrap value...about $300 to $350 on ebay...about $800 new... doesn't matter, my wife confiscated it😁...it's a size 7

Hey GREAT ring. I'd say wife confiscates about 40% of my rings that are silver or gold or platinum. If they fit ANY finger or thumb it is a keeper for her.
Found a platinum band earlier this year, first in several years, and it got confiscated!
[I think she might sell them and buy cloths!]
