Found an old spoon with makers marks I’m unable to identify and the top of a Larson Soap Company bottle. Has a cool metal cap. Am excited to be finding anything ! I also found $3.35 :)
great start and welcome aboard. those area actually very cool finds, wtg

Congrats and welcome. Detecting is a blast, I've learned more about history than I ever did in school. I've also lost about 15 lbs since I started going out 2-3 times a week. So fun with health benefits

It’s an el cheapo I got just to see if it was fun. But I’ll get a better one. Hopefully very soon.
Welcome to your new addiction! After 35+? years, when I walk up to a new place somewhere, my fingers still tingle in anticipation of what I MIGHT find. Can't be helped. ...Not to worry, you will have a great support group here on T-Net...

Welcome to Treasurenet humblecat and nice finds

Probably pseudo hall marks on the spoon. A lot of plated silverware had phony hall/duty marks to give the impression of a much fancier sterling silver set.

Oh no! I’m in recovery. I guess this is a better habit than my old ones ! lol

Cool Larkin top! They made an array of toiletry products. I've found a few of their bottles. They had some cool glass stoppers too with their LSC Co monogram. Most people don't know but their headquarters building on seneca street in Buffalo was Frank Lloyd Wright's (most known for the home falling water in Pennsylvania) first commercial building. In typical American fashion it was demolished...
