First Merc 2007

Went out detecting with my buddy Sean (Baggins) today at an east Texas park and picked up my first Mercury Dime (1934 D) of the year along with a few other goodies.

Good deal on the Merc. I've been in a Merc drought the last few weeks. Getting rosie's instead. Would much rather have the Mercs.

Any idea what that thing is in the upper right corner of your picture? The piece that looks like a threaded bolt with a slot down the center. I found one of those on the farm site I search.

Hey miner it is a lug for makeing and electrical connection it is missing the center piece and the nut

The primer was sturck but missfired as the end of the case did not open, My buddy found half a dozen just like it,
