Hey to all.The cold temps arent letting up here in MI yet but I couldnt hold back any longer.I had a couple hours to kill this afternoon so I loaded up the battery pack and headed for the local park. The park has been around quite some time and much of it has been landscaped over the years so finding the old targets really takes patience. The good stuff is deep and there is alot of trash.I covered two small areas today.Sweeping slowly accross the pop tab infested ground, I managed to pick up a fist full of clad, an old pocket knife, a couple pieces of cheap jewelry, three wheaties from the 40's-50's, a really nice 45 Merc and a 1911 barber. With temps still in the 20's-30's the ground was frozen down a couple of inches but I was able to force my digger through and pop out a chunk of earth just above most of the targets. Most were at 3-4 inches. The barber was actually at 6 inches and was barely a blip on my radar.Definitely a fun hunt but I was ready for a hot coffe after about an hour and a half. The best of luck to all...Joe
