Hey folks,
It's been nearly 6 years but my brother and I used to be active on these forums from about 2005-2011. Metal detecting has fallen by the wayside as life's demands have increased, but we still get out once in a while. A couple months ago, I noticed that my friend's parents were digging up their yard in the University District of Seattle to put in a new sprinkler system. I asked if it would be okay for us to detect and they said that would be fine.
It's a small city lot and it was raining and blustering pretty hard the day we went, so we didn't last too long out there but we did find a few keepers. I know it's been a couple months but I still thought it'd be fun to share.
Our Keepers were:
-1957 D silver Roosevelt dime
-1930 S wheat penny
-Washington State Tax Token
Our clad haul was:
-1 quarter
-6 dimes
-9 pennies
Hopefully more to report soon. Happy hunting folks!
