Northern Jersey has been frozen, today was the first nice day, so I left work early to hunt ( I've had the itch for few months now). I ended up at a small field (track) not expecting much. However in the 3.5 hour hunt I walked away with 15 Wheaties, $7.01 in clad, and 5 silvers.

Hopefully there will be more days like this in the 2015 season!!

That's a nice haul of silvers for one outing.

Wonderful job. Take yourself out for something to drink now. Congrats

That's outstanding!!!

Found with the Deus I would guess......5 silver in 1 day is awesome & over $7 clad w/15 wheats would make anyone proud......I see 2 mercs are 1926.....was either one an "S" mint mark?....if so, that is a better date....and they both look like in nice condition........Good Luck on more "real" hunting days....lol.

Thanks guys, just the 1918 was a D mark, the 1826 dimes were regular.

Hopefully the season has many more in store?

That field was covered 80% in snow, I'm hoping to go back one it warms up to clean out some more!
