After staring at the computer all day, went out to the beach for an hour or so. Found my first ring ever on about the first swipe (soft sand near the dunes, I usually look down by the surfline at low tide). A little anti-climactic, ring was laying on top of the sand. No exciting digging or sifting. It's stamped: S925AL650 on the inside.

Nice ring find

Nice! I remember my first ring. Actually found two that day. Always an exciting find!

Congratulations on the pretty, unusual ring. It is sterling, but the "AL650" is intriguing, is it a reference to gold content? Maybe some of our jeweler friends can let us know! Sub 8-)

Congratulations on your First! :occasion14:

Congratualtions on the finds! :occasion14:

Nice ! Looks like that may be a moonstone - (without much to go on)

Sweet ring and your first ring, Congrats!!

That's a good start! Congratz!

Nice ring. As for the stamp that one is STRANGE! 925 is sterling as stated but AL650?? AL is the symbol for aluminum. but 650? All I can say is you have one I have never seen and I thought I had seen every stamp out there.

I sure would like to know what that critter is. I have never even seen a sterling plated aluminum.

Congrats on breaking the ice!
