So my new yard is really old, and in a part of Michigan that has been heavily used by not only Americans, but the French, trappers, loggers, Native Americans, etc... for hundreds of years.
I'm pretty excited, but my first day out didn't meet those expectations. In addition to what you see below, I found dozens of nails! Ugh!
Finds:
(1) 1928 Wheat
(1) 1976 Lincoln
(1) Dime-sized metal flap (possibly an oiler cover for some machine)
(1) Ounce of molten metal. Non-magnetic and silvery when scratched. Hmm.
