Dime was mid 30s on VDI in ground, but mid 50s out of hole. V was a solid 26 when I went back over the open hole after pulling the seated.
Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats on the very nice finds. My first Seated was also an 1891. I have never found a V nickel as nice as the one you dug. Good job and continued good luck.

Very nice coins. Congratulations

Congrats on your first seated coin! A very excellent find. The combintion of the dime and nickel in the same hole no doubt lowered the initial VDI. You get credit for digging it any way. Some people would have passed up that signal and missed out on that lovely seated dime.

Thanks...Good point about the VDI. I have also had some thin silver coins and older pennies ringing up in the 30s lately; just never know. I was shocked to see this pop out. If it is an old area and the signal is deep I will just dig it.

Congrats, always good to recheck your hole before moving on.
Feel like I have walked away from many without doing that, especially after an awesome find. I start getting delirious out of excitement and pull out the phone to snap a photo and then walk away. Glad that wasn't the case here : )

Wow ... that's a home run for sure - congrats !

You did VERY GOOD !!!! Thanks for sharing

Congrats on your first seated! I've only found a couple but still remember that first one!

I think we have all done that at one time or another.

What a way to knock one off the bucket list, an 1800 spill- fantastic finds- Congrats!!
