First session with my scoop "The Dredge"

Hi bought that scoop custom made by Stavr last year was too busing metal detecting so didn't really have time to try it.....so i fitted a fibreglass shaft and a special handle "back saver"and off i went .Because i usually go around town on bike i had to wal to the spot with a fork and a shovel in a sailor bag .The idea is too "rake: the goodies rich gravel and bring it bag to the shore and try to spot the goodies and repeat the operation.I did a couple of trenches too to avoid doing the same movement for 2 hours .But nothing to declare after removing the top layer i had only 20 cm of dry compact black gravel .But the scoop was very handy and effective to refill the trenches (we have to by law trespassers can get their licence cancel)

So i am enclosing few pics nothing to exciting but a good work and lot of fun
