new to forum.. congrats on first silver coin.
been hunting for 3 years ruff $200 in clad. $0.00 silver i believe my bad luck is location i hunt.. also i use a low grade detector
does the coin have toning? i always wondered ive found no silver coins but found silver jewelry and some older peices have nice toning..

Found this in the oddest location.

There's a fairly new park with a mostly unused section with a makeshift baseball Diamond.
This was found about 10 feet from the fence in the woods. No where near where I would assume people congregate.

I was definitely surprised

Check that area harder. There could be an old history to it that isn't apparent.
