First silver coin and it's a great one!

So I went out today to a church that was built in the 20's. I searched for two hours and all I found was dozens of soda cans reading 80-82 on the AT Pro... Weird number for cans. I was also picking up a lot of ghost signals. Between that and my little 13 month old being cranky I was starting to think I was wasting my time and money on this hobby. So I picked up my things when I heard a beep. I looked at the vdi and it said 94 at 2 inches. I figured it was just another can for whatever reason but what I pulled was this beauty

Very worn but a 1936 D walking half is a great first silver!

I'd say thats a very nice first silver. Most people start off with a Rosie or Washington. Nice find.

I had to laugh at the first two comments. My very first silver was also a 1964 rosey.

Sweet first find. Your dirt is interesting. I am used to silver looking like silver out of the dirt. Not brown clad!!

Hope many many more are on their way under your coil.

That's awesome. My first silver was a walker too and under similar circumstances. Big time grats!!!

Well done dude! Still hunting firmly first silver!
