What silver coin did the U.S. mint make dated 1793? They made a very limited number in 1792, and then half dimes and half dollars in 1794, but, I don't recall anything dated 1793.

Maybe they were referring to half cents and large cents, and not specifically silver.

Agree, I see the Chain Cent originated in 1793.
