First SILVER find!!! BIG HIT

Ok so I went to a local park just down the street with my neighbor and I wasn't doen so great but he was doen pretty good finden some coins. All I got was trash! So I saw an old oak tree and decided to check next to it. I didn't find much there but next to it was a paved path so I was sweeping next to it and I got a high reading on my whites prizm V bout 6 inches deep so I dug and dug and finally out popped these 2 dimes and had no wear to them which I Thot was odd for as deep as they were and about an inch deeper was a wheat penny. So whn we were done I talked to my neighbor bout the dimes and told him the dates (1961, 1963) and he was like SILVER!!! Turns out he has a chart of all the dates of coins thats been made that are silver so I have to say I had a pretty good day xpecially for my first silver! Happy hunting

Congrats to you Stan on your first silver find! And it was a double find at that. I still remember my first silver dime, I bet you remember those for a very long time as well!

he wont find more if i have anything to say about it!!! I've been kicking his butt all summer with the Clad count (minus 1 night, he hit a nice hole with over 1.25 in it) but we all have a good and bad days! i hit my Silver earlier this month with a ring. been alot of fun hitting the parks and places with Stan, good guy!!!
