Hi, nice find. Congrats on your first silver coin find:icon_thumleft:

Congrats on that first silver dime, and how old is your daughter by the way?

Put it in a nice case you think your hooked now just wait till you get that 18k diamond ring youll have to join metal detecters annonomous lol Well done

Well, I'd say you came into the hobby with dreams.

The hobby ain't gonna let you go now, you ARE HOOKED!

Very nice find, congrats!!

That’s a great 1st silver coin! It took me a year and a half to get my first merc. Continued good hunting!

Super First - Many More!! :hello2::skullflag:

Nice Merc! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Who found the Merc?

First off, I think it's awesome that you're hunting with your daughter! Nothing like that very first silver- Congrats-- now go get the next one!

Nice find. You'll always remember the first one.

That’s a great first silver coin. Be sure to put it aside in a nice case, it’s a memory that you and your daughter will share for years to come.

Thanks, everyone. My daughters are 6 and 10, and we went out together this afternoon. They were thrilled when this dime popped up, tired of all the pull tabs and corroded pennies!
My friend and his son were there, too. And I think we have another that is "hooked." We played in that park as kids, and so did our own parents. Nice to think this merc lay there the whole time without any of us knowing.
Probably more down there. I've got to go dig it all up!

congrats...got my first this year too!

Congrats! Research is key when looking for the old stuff and there’s always goodies in old plowed farm fields. Good luck and happy hunting!
