FIRST SILVER HALF!

So my dad and I got permission to detect this house that was built in the late 1800's. They said someone had already detected it but we said we would try anyway. When we got there I hit the front yard and my dad hit the back. We weren't even 20 minutes in till I heard "Come here!". So I went to the back and he dropped it in my hands. We were both excited. He found it right under where the clothes line used to be. So we're guessing when someone hung their pants up to dry it fell out. It's a 1945 walking liberty and it has some wear but we're still excited. I found a 1925 wheatie but that goes to show that you can find good stuff in a place that's been detected before. Congrats to Dad. The clothes line area is one of the best places to hunt on an old property. Many times I have gotten permission and hear that someone had detected the property a few years back. I have dug keepers at everyone of them.
