First Silver in 2007!!!!!( Hey DeKalb it's a BARBER DIME )



Pat ( VISCERAL) and I hit a park where I have found some good keepers before. About 20 feet from where Bomber found his fake hammered coin last summer.

It was a nice day and the M D is all fixed after the screwdriver toss incident which put it out of commission for a few days.

Nice way to start the year with a 1916 Barber Dime... Persistence paid off again. As much as I have gone back to
this little area it still holds a surprise or two.. No place is hunted out.. D P S B

Ya The parts cost me $94.99 I put them in my self.. It beats sending it in then waiting and that would have cost $140
I did it myself and it took 10 minutes to replace the board and face plate. Thanks

I'm glad to hear that the silver finding machine is fixed! How deep was the Barber dime? What kind of reading did it give you? I found a 1912 in a park last year at 5".

I'm glad to hear that the silver finding machine is fixed! How deep was the Barber dime? What kind of reading did it give you? I found a 1912 in a park last year at 5".

It was 4 to 4.5 inches deep. I think it was on it's side cause it didn't have a solid signal but it was good enough to dig. 80 - 82 vdi
