Finally, some silver to add to my collection. The Barber dime has been on my list for a while, found that about a week ago, and the merc I got yesterday, this is the first silver I've found in over a year, very exciting. The merc, bullet and button were dug at a colonial site, I had better expectation of this new site as the home was built in 1702, lots of aluminum shards in the plowed field, will keep looking. Thanks for looking Dean

Hey Curt, I wore longjohns to keep me warm. The ground wasn't frozen at all, easy diggin.

Good to know...hoping to hit a cornfield by a high school before it freezes...maybe this coming saturday...will be in full sun so that will help.
