Just got back almost an hour ago from some cold and windy night MD'ing. Started out with a few quick clad finds and I eventually ran into a wheat, and then a second. Having found the wheats, I began to sweep in a more concentrated manner (Better overlap) in what was a pretty quiet area........almost 3 hours and I only had about 10 coins......and this is where I am glad that I dig all clad..........a dime signal at the first bar on the depth meter.......and what comes out?......this mercury dime at no more than one inch of depth. WTF?.........that is a first. Also ran into my second canadian penny find, it was sitting on top of the ground. It was one hell of a cold night until I found this merc.........things felt a little warmer after that. I still have a seriously heavy BIG SILVER monkey on my back.......he's gotta come off.
