Went to my sons house today and found my first silver Quarter today, plus a few other nice finds. the Quarte is a 1920 standing liberty!

also found a 1964 nickel
a 1958 5 centavos
a 1934 wheatie
1945 wheatie
1955 wheatie,,and several other coppers. no dimes, and only one
zinc penny

the bad part was that I told my sone he could keep the first nice coin out of his yard and the Quarter was it!
the Quarter and the wheaties were within a foot of each other,, a pocket spill maybe.
his yard has real hard packed and dry soil, so I told him after we get some good rains I'd like to try that spot some more....all in all a good couple of hours
