Alright so I got out yesterday for a couple of hours in this blazing Washington weather. Not a lot to show for it but my first dig was a very exciting '54 D Washington Quarter. To most of you professional MDers thats probably not much but I was stoked. Anyways sorry for not posting sooner I was being lazy yesterday. Hopefully I'll be able to get out today and post again today.

Nice find congrats :icon_pirat:

Hey, that quarter is fantastic! I have been detecting for years and haven't dug one yet! A big congrats on the silver, it is nice.

That's a good find, even to "seasoned" detectorists like me!! I've found quite a few of them and still get excited when I pull one out of the ground.

Nice find

I cannot imagine not being thrilled to dig a silver coin, especially something as large as a quarter. Great job, the last two silver Washingtons I dug were 54s, both in the same hole.

Nice job on the silver quarter. Hopefully the first of many. Keep digging!

Those are tough to find here in washington. Great find. :icon_pirat:

Silver is always sweet!
Get back over there and find another to post tonight!

Congrats on your first silver quarter! I'm still looking myself

Cool find on the quarter! Now I need to go find one of those babies! It would be my first also.

Very nice quater. :o Be glad that you found one, I was hunting in what used to be an old elementary school ballfield a couple weeks ago and got a nice quater signal. Now this school closed in 1981 and had been around for about 60 years prior to that so I'm hopin' silver. Anyway, sure enough it was a quater, a nice 1965 >:( Quater. Missed it by that much :icon_scratch:. So any silver is good silver congrats and HH.

All kinds of silver will soon join ole curios george! ha HH jgas..

been hunting for years but I will take a silver quarter anytime. WTG
