First Silver Quarter!

Alright so I got out yesterday for a couple of hours in this blazing Washington weather. Not a lot to show for it but my first dig was a very exciting '54 D Washington Quarter. To most of you professional MDers thats probably not much but I was stoked. Anyways sorry for not posting sooner I was being lazy yesterday. Hopefully I'll be able to get out today and post again today.

I cannot imagine not being thrilled to dig a silver coin, especially something as large as a quarter. Great job, the last two silver Washingtons I dug were 54s, both in the same hole.

Very nice quater. Be glad that you found one, I was hunting in what used to be an old elementary school ballfield a couple weeks ago and got a nice quater signal. Now this school closed in 1981 and had been around for about 60 years prior to that so I'm hopin' silver. Anyway, sure enough it was a quater, a nice 1965 Quater. Missed it by that much . So any silver is good silver congrats and HH.
