Went out for about an hour this evening. Hit a church yard across from my house and curb strip along side. Picked up a 1941 quarter in the yard and the 1957 in the strip. I know the strip has been hit a couple times, how that quarter got missed I do not know.

Got my first silver quarter and then hit again less than 30 minutes later. Great way to end the weekend.

Way to get that GW quarter notched off your list and a second one in the treasure chest. I do love the display panel on that machine of yours too BTW. Congrats.:usflag::icon_salut:

Nice job man , not easy (normally) to find silver quarters plural !

Congratulations, great job of picking locations. Good research leads to good rewards.

pretty darn sweet!

Another one off the bucket list- Congrats!!

Nice way to start or end any weekend. As far as how the one was missed before? Hard to cover every square inch of planet Earth when detecting, it's often hit or miss, and that day you "Hit". I think that is why we often go back to many places to "Re-Detect", and often go back many times, because you just never know.

Know what you mean. I hit a school yard that folks were telling me was hunted out. Got 2 silver dimes and a buffalo nickle out of it. [emoji1]

Congrats on your pair of silver Georges !! Its always great to dig multiple silvers in a hunt.

I have a similar experience. I hit up a seemingly obvious metal detecting spot, and popped out 2 Washingtons. And nothing else!

So happy for you!
