First Silver Ring

hello all, happy detecting.
been a while since I've posted here.
I found my first silver ring, pretty cool. I know it's not anything real special, but every first is a good thing! Got a tungsten in the same river too. I know how everyone love tungsten lol.

Sweet first ring. I wear my first ring that I found everyday. The black stones could be marcasite. Found a old silver ring with a few of them in it.

Doesn't look like marcasite (pyrite) to me. Could be black spinel as well.

Any pawn shop or jeweler will have a diamond tester and they are cheap to purchase as well.
