First silver this year

Was hunting the location of an old Negro League ball field. Hadn't went ten feet when got a signal that was bouncing between a high penny and a quarter. Out popped this 1939 Merc.

Not 20 feet away I found the badly corroded butt stock of an old revolver. Was so happy that I went back after work for two hours but found nothing but a clad quarter. Love the Merc dime though.
