First silver

First silver coin today. First good coin of any kind really. It's a standing liberty quarter d mint mark with 3 stars on the back. Date is worn smooth so disappointed I can't date it but I'm still super pumped about finding it. Also found a 1910 wheat penny in the same hole. Good day in my book.

Wow that's an awesome first silver!!! I'm still hunting for my first SLQ! Hope you find many more.

Would be awesome if I had a date to go with it but I'm not going to complain about this find. I still have a lot of this yard to detect and 2 other yards in this historic district of town to o through. We will see what else I can turn up.

I'm not all that worries about the date it would be nice to know, but being my first silver coin I will probably keep this coin for the rest of my life.
